With London Fashion Week in full swing, it is difficult to ignore the constant streaming and tweeting about fashion. Estethica is the part of London fashion week that is dedicated to sustainable fashion and this year it has some pretty amazing designers and brands exhibiting. Sustainable Fashion – Estethica SS13
A collection of Swimwear by Diana Auria Harris beachwear uses Econyl®, a recycled plastic. These eyecatching and modern swimsuits and bikinis feature 3d prints by the illustrator Margot Bowman.
Carla Fernandez uses natural fabrics to create beautiful clothes using traditional Mexican working methods combined with a modern slant.
Mich Dulce have a fantastic and very elegant collection of headwear which is ideal for ladies that want to stand out from the crowd. Each piece is handcrafted from banana leaves by the women of the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation in the Philippines.
Liora Lassalle, graduate of Central St Martins, has created some great denim trousers made in the UK from clothes that are no longer used.
